Kidnap Victim Found 18 Years Later: The Case That Shocked The World!

How can things like this happen? Too easily, it seems, from this horrendous case. Take a look at the Jaycee Dugard case…

Garrido’s manifesto.  He truly believed he had the answer!  Police also turn to the question – did he murder prostitutes too?

This man was supposed to be supervised by the state.  Who was supervising him for 10 years, and how come they failed to pick up on the fact that there were children in this “high control” offender’s back yard all that time?  Neighbours were never contacted when they should have been.  Some people didn’t even know he was on parole.  What an incredible history of Parole Agents failure!

Police search the Garrido property.  Were there other victims?

The Police speak about other missing persons:

Looking for missing Michaela and possibly other victims:

Garrido’s wife arrested as his accomplice.  What role did Nancy Garrido have in the kidnapping?  What kind of woman allows this to happen all in her own back yard?  Her lawyer speaks:

Nancy Garrido was a willing accomplice.  She trawled playgrounds and made videos of children for his sexual gratification.  This woman even became sole captor during a period when he was in jail for parole violation.  She knew everything that was going on.  How can a woman live with a husband who kidnaps, rapes, abuses, fathers children by a child and does all these horrible things?  It is unimaginable!

The Garridos plead NOT GUILTY… can you believe it?

Nancy Garrido “loves the Dugard kids” so much she never let them go free or got them help?  She wants to see them!  “A family relationship,” she claims!

Phillip Garrido’s lawyer speaks:

His lawyer had to take his case:

Garrido’s mental fitness state was questioned.  The lawyer said that he was mentally disturbed and heard the voices of angels who lived underground for years.  The topic of schizophrenia is raised.

The question of his competence puts the case on the line.  If he is found mentally incompetent to stand trial he will go to a State Hospital and remain there indefinitely, delaying  justice.  Does he believe he is mentally fit though?

Jaycee’s Mother reads an emotional statement:

Garrido’s other victim speaks out, saying she hopes he rots in Hell!  Also her interview on the Larry King Show.

The Garridos sentenced:

Jailed:

“You can redeem 18 years of stolen life,” Jaycee says.

Jaycee speaks of her years of inner struggle:

Life after captivity:

Unseen footage about Garrido.

People like these are the reason why you must teach your children never to talk to strangers, the reasons why schools should be vigilant, the reasons why having a “nosey neighbour” could be a good thing really, and the reason why bystander apathy and the “not my problem” issue is a very real one in society today.

Of all the missing person cases reported around the world… how many other Jaycees are out there suffering, waiting, hoping, praying?

Whenever I read about something like this, I wonder just how many other ‘missing’ persons are out there being subjected to this kind of treatment. I am glad that she survived it.

Awesome presentation. I could not bear the videos. God said we were to trust no man but God. Here’s proof, in this article that the world has no power to save. We are all incompetent without Christ. Yet, surely the law officials could have done better. Very glad she’s free and may she be free in Christ.
