Law Enforcement and Restraining Orders

How much can an officer of a law can get away with.

I have recently had harrassment issues relating from an ex partner who also happens to be an officer of the law. We shall call him Mr. D. Head, I think.

I have had him harrass me on a daily basis via text message. I counted how many texts I had received from him in the last forty eight hours and it was a total of 204, much to my astonishment. I wouldn’t actually mind if they were civil and mature messages but they were rather threatening. Mr. Head has made threats toward myself, my current partner and my children. Mr. D. Head had also stooped as low as going to the department for children’s protection and told some horrible lies about me as a parent. This I’m not really concerned about, I am just peeved off that my name will be on DCP’S data base for the rest of my life.

I recently had talked to a family member about his inappropiate behaviour and they had suggested that I put a restraining order against him. I thought about it, then I took their advice and went to apply for one. I got help with filling out the forms with a victim’s support worker at the courts and he said that I had every right to get a restraining order and I had a very good chance of obtaining a restraining order.

That was until I told him my ex partner was a cop and he basically told me not to bother and to ‘just forget about him.’

Okay. So any civillian off the street who harrassed and threatened their exes will get a restraining order slapped on them and would probably be charged to go with it, but if a police officer did it, we’re told to forget about it and to ignore them.

Well, me for one, can’t ignore hundreds of threatening text messages and phone calls on a daily basis. I’m too damn scared to go near this guy and the law won’t protect me. Why would any one want someone like Mr. D. Head who continuously uses the law to his advantage to get to me and continuously breaks the law with acts of violence which has gone beyond bordering along creepy, mind you, to be roaming around on our streets arresting people for what he does all the time?

I really sympathize for you. Our law officials believe that they are above the law. They stick up for each other, and cover their own crimes. The entire criminal justice system is so corrupt, that no person is safe from their evil deeds and dangers.
Instead of the law being our friends, they have turned into our enemies. There are millions of stories out here, about how these masters of deception get away with worse crimes than they arrest, and send people to prison for. When will it all end, and REAL JUSTICE be available to the victims???
Be careful. Very careful. Law officials are more apt to kill than an average person, because they KNOW they will get away with it.
