Mackensie Phillips: Victim of Sex, Drugs, and Her Father
by Mackensie Phillips recently revealed on Oprah that she and her father, Mamas and the Papas singer John Phillips, had a sexual relationship for 10 years.
Looks like poor One Day at a Time star Mackensie Phillips is a victim of free love, having been raped repeatedly…by her father! It’s hard to believe that a member of The Mamas and the Papas had sex with his daughter for ten years, and apparently fell in love with her, but that is what John Phillips did.
I am a huge fan of the 60’s and a big supporter of marijuana and psychedelics, however I’m ashamed and appalled at John Phillips and feel it is a stain on “Peace Love and Happiness”.
Think of how many millions of girls were taken advantage of in that period of time. It’s depressing just imagining what weird stuff might have went on. Forrest Gump sort of shows the dark side of being a hippie, when Jennie’s boyfriend slaps her, but it doesn’t raise the issue like this Mackensie Phillips ordeal does.
I firmly believe that when hard drugs come into the picture all bets are off. Once cocaine and heroin became popular the 60’s was screwed and the 70’s came to infect the culture. Oh well, at least Mackensie got to bang Mick Jagger along the way. She claims he had wanted her since she was ten…he’s obviously a sex addict because have you seen her gums?
