Madeleine McCann Two Years On
by It’s been nearly two years now and there hasn’t been any luck in finding little Madeleine McCann.
At 10.00pm on Thursday, May 3rd 2007, in The Ocean Club complex, Praia da Luz, Portugal, as her parent’s ate with friends at the on complex poolside Tapas bar, little Madeleine McCann was suspectedly abducted from her bed in her holiday apartment. Maddies parents were only 250 feet away enjoying their dinner, as this unforgivable act was unfolding, but they saw nothing, nor did any of the other holiday makers all sitting around the poolside.
Madeleline has not been seen since.
The Portuguese Police had carried out a very intensive investigation, but to no avail. Kate and Gerry McCann, Maddies parents also had their own investigation carried out by private investigators, but also to no avail. There were even television appeals by famous personalities, David Beckham being one of them, who asked for the safe return of little Madeleine McCann.
On March 14th, 2009, only a few weeks ago, a recent reported sighting of Maddie came from the capital Valletta in Malta, one of a few sightings already reported in the area. Apparently Maddie was spotted playing in a square in the capital, the people who spotted her tried to follow the girl who had striking resemblance’s to Maddie, but lost the little girl in the maze of streets.
Next week the 3rd of May, marks the second anniversary of the disappearance of Little Madeleine McCann, so I appeal to you and anyone out there that might have even the smallest bit of information, no matter how insignificant you might think it is, to report it, it could help find Madeleine McCann. Some people believe that Maddie is dead, but me personally, I believe she is alive, that she is safe, she is with people who love her, but her parents, Kate and Gerry love her too.
So remember and pray for Little Madeleine McCann, as her anniversary comes and goes, and hopefully we won’t need to remember it, as she will be found.

Its so refreshing to see someone writing about the McCanns and Madeleine, in a nice manner, rather than some of the nasty comments we have to read in some of the tabloid newspapers.
It must be just awful for Madeleine’s family, not knowing who has her and if she is well.
This was a nice post and well said.
I too believe that she is alive and well, I just wish that she could be home before the 2nd anniversary next Sunday.

My heart goes out to the family and for little Maddie. I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child and worse to not know what happened. Very nicely written !
