Mandatory Castration: Burned Remains Identified as 14 Year Old Alicia DeBolt
It is so very frustrating to say the least when it comes to how to handle those who prey upon our children.
The idea of mandatory castration for anyone who is found guilty of charges having to do with child pornography, attempted molestation, molestation, and murder sounds like a good first step.
One might say this is unfair for someone who has only been found guilty of what the system refers to as lesser charges of being in possession of child pornography or viewing child pornography on the Internet or by other means to be castrated, however there is much research and evidence to prove that one does not improve or recover from these desires and behaviors.
It might not of helped in the case of Alicia DeBolt since Adam Longoria does not seem to have any priors involving children but there are many cases where it would have.
After you read about yet another innocent child’s life being taken by one of these sick individuals, how do you feel about mandatory castration?
Alicia DeBolt.
Alicia DeBolts mother reported her 14 year old daughter missing on Sunday afternoon when she did not return home from a party she left her home to go to with a supposed 19 year old male around 11p.m. on Saturday.
Alicia DeBolts badly charred remains were located at a gravel yard of the same company where Adam Longoria had recently been employed. Longoria was terminated from his employment at Venture Corporation for stealing equipment earlier in the week.
Longoria who is 36 years old, was arrested when he was caught driving a stolen vehicle which belonged to Venture Corporation. He was being sought after by authorities as a “person of interest” in the murder of Alicia. He was booked without incident and charged with one count of vehicle burglary and one count of property theft.
Adam Longoria.
Longoria had just completed 7 years out of an 8 year sentence in a Texas prison when he was released May of 2010. Longoria’s rap sheet begins in 1991 and consists of burglary, forgery, credit card abuse, escape from prison and evading arrest convictions.
Longoria was known for hanging out with mainly teenage boys at a park across the street, called Heizer Park, from where he resided in the past according to a neighbor who wanted to remain anonymous. The park was a local late night teen hang-out. The neighbor also said that Longoria was known to have a few parties at this house he once resided in which consisted of mainly teenage party goers.
The brother to Longorias girlfriend, Jeff Brown commented in saying that the couple have resided together for the last 6 to 7 months. How this is possible since Longoria has only been out of prison for less than three months is unknown. Brown also stated the Longoria and his sister along with her two children ages 10 and 12 moved to the home in Great Bend about 3 to 4 weeks ago.
Brown stated his sister was heartbroken and feeling terrible for the family of Alicia and could only imagine how difficult this is for everyone. He also said his sister could not believe she was with a man who might be capable of doing something like this.
The sisters Black Ford Escape was impounded as Longoria was known to drive the vehicle on occasion. Search warrants had also been obtained to search the home in Great Bend and its surrounding buildings and fixtures.
Longoria commented in saying that he only met Alicia one time and this was at a birthday party for his girlfriend in July. He also stated he sent a text message to Alicia the night of her disappearance but did not hear back from her.
is interesting when considering that Longoria only met Alicia one time and this was back in July but just so happened to have sent her a text message on the night she was murdered.
Not to rush to judgement, but how many of these cases do we need to have happen before it is plainly seen that this man befriended Alicia and likely talked her into telling her mother lies. His intentions were set on having sex with Alicia that horrifying night and when she resisted he killed her and set her on fire.
One more issue to consider, how many mother’s would allow their 14 year old daughter to leave the home on a Saturday at eleven at night with a 19 year old or 36 year old male to attend a party?
The mother said she saw Alicia’s 19 year old male friend pick her up in a vehicle. The mother also told authorities that Alicia was told she had to be home by midnight.
Again, not to rush to judgement but common sense must tell us that something doesn’t sound quite right. Could it be that the mother really did not see who Alicia left with and simply assumed it was her 19 year old male friend?
Alicia and her mother.
Parents must return to being parents. Far too many have taken on the role of being their children’s best buddy as well as being lazy in their parenting. As harsh as this might sound, we as a society have been far too concerned with being politically correct with being so cautious about what we say and how we say it and not wanting to be accused of rushing to judgement.
This needs to change. With things of this nature, it is sometimes necessary to hear the unedited, cold and hard facts. It certainly can’t make the situation any worse and perhaps could help save a child.

At times Biblical justice
Is apt, rest just injustice
Treat this Adam likewise
Burn him before ‘nother vice.

How come the life and torture has been replaced with just 7 or 8 years sentence? What is the compensation for the victim’s kith and kin? How will this system stop the next guy from preying on another Alicia? Very touching writeup and extremely bad incident. Keep up the good work!

My sympathy for the bereaved family. Befitting punishment should be given to such people by putting to life imprisonment.

A man like him should be punished with a life imprisonment. On the other hand, parents should maintain an open communication with their children. this is a sad but interesting story.
