He might have been just what the mobsters needed.A smart minded individual to organize the group.It seems a majority was just out to knock off the next gangster as retribution for a crime committed against one another. The tough Italians against the firm Jewish mobsters. And it’s about time people realize that not all mobsters was Italians. Since many Catholic churches in New York,was built with mob money. It stands to say the same about some Jewish Temple or synagogue.

How concern was the father or rabbi to hear the known supporter confess. Oh,father I have sinned. When they have just killed someone. Or order it done. Lanksy bought respect to the trade. A business mind making money for the firm will always get someone ear. It been said,if Meyer Lanksy had his way. Benjamin Siegel would still be living. And probably would if his business was on earning money giving to him by Luciano and the group. Maybe if more powerful Jewish mobster was  present when the decision was made to eliminate him.

Whether he die almost broke remains to be seen. Hiding money or transferring in to another is a well know trade. And if he gets so much credit for running the casinos in Cuba. Then rest assure he didn’t die broke. Just smart enough to out smart the Federal investigators.
