Mom Takes Kids Along on Bank Heist
Is this really quality family time?
Tawander Simmons, 35, of Stone Mountain, Georgia took her 17 year old son and two of his friends on an exciting field trip on Friday 1/28/2011.

Tawander Simmons
The boy’s skipped school and rode to the Wells Fargo bank with Tawander Simmons at around 9:00 am.
Ms. Simmons then entered the bank with two of the teens, while a third waited outside in the getaway car, a red Toyota Corolla. Simmons proceeded to point a gun at the teller demanding money and after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash fled the bank. A witness called police with the description of a fleeing vehicle.
The police spotted the red toyota and gave chase at speeds up to 90 m.p.h. as it fled down Highway 78 onto southbound I-285. The car exited at East Ponce de Leon Avenue near Clarkston where it crashed into an embankment and ended up on the railroand tracks.
Simmons and her son who is named as Benny Brice, and two other teens, both from Lithonia: Glenn Broom, 18, and David Rollins, 17 are all under arrest and are charged with armed robbery. they are being held at the Gwinnet County Jail.
I do not think this is what is meant as spending quality time with your kids.

Ok, but who better to teach you how to rob a bank. It just goes to show that moms really can do anything.
Seriously, though – the expression utterly stupid comes to mind. It is not too far fetched that one of those young people could have been shot at the scene.

Not only could they have been shot, as djbtol, but they could have died in a car accident fleeing the scene. How utterly disgusting. Where is the love a parent has for her child?

Amazing story of how wrong some parents can be in showing how to raise their kids.
