Most Growing Crime According to Authorities…..

I am going to give you how you can get ID Theft and some ways to keep your identity intact.

If you were to ask police what the biggest growing crime is, they would tell you ID theft. You can get your identity stolen if  you toss in the trash instead of shredding first, things that have important numbers about you.  Some people look through trash looking for things like these and thus you can be a victim if ID Theft. They can open a credit card in your name and buy over your credit limit then-you get the bill- and the thief gets the goods, The could probably wipe out your savings. They could also commit a crime n your name and you can go to jail.

Thieves can also get your name, credit card number and social security number, if an ID thief stole your wallet or you lost it. If you have a credit card in your wallet, the thief can take your card and pretend to be you and ruin your credit, not to forget that you’ll have to pay the bill.

Another way to be a victim of ID Theft, if you go out to a restaurant and give your credit to the person who waits on you, and they take your credit card and bring it back, there is a chance the person could copy your numbers on your credit card.

There are ways to protect yourself from ID  theft, One way is not to take more credit cards with you than you need that day and don’t carry your social security card unless you know that for whatever reason you’ll need it. It is also good for you to get your mail ASAP or if you are going away, have a neighbor get your mail. If your mailbox is too full will make thieves collect the mail themselves and their can have very important private things about you in it.
