Crime in cyberspace growing craze. Recently, cyber thieves to sell stolen credit card details on the net worth of the cost to buy a bag of chips.
The British government has found more than 150 web sites offering illegally obtained information. about 20 thousand to 100 thousand credit card customers from around the world become victims.
In a simple transaction, a thief can select customer details, add to their shopping cart, and check out.
Director of the UK’s largest intelligence agency also revealed that cyber attacks on individuals, businesses, and government has reached the level of ‘disturbing’.
Iain Lobham, head of British intelligence center (GCHQ), warned that sensitive data was targeted and that the British economy is sustained under threat.
He said the sensitive data on government computers have been targeted, along with the defense, technology, and engineering design firm.
He revealed this summer they are trying to undermine the State department website and several other offices, but failed.
