Our Worried Nation
Thoughts on today’s news and the change our nation is wanting so desperately.
Everything bad is on the rise. Unemployment is up. They say crime is down, I don’t believe that. Stress levels are rising. People are frustrated, concerned and feeling helpless. Nothing about our country is showing any improvement. Maybe I’m just being a little impatient. I would like to see some sort of positive change soon.
The news reports are filled with violent crimes and deceit. Children being kidnapped and murdered. Husbands killing their spouses, their entire families. Wives killing their husbands and themselves. Murder-suicides are occupying the headlines more frequently. Our people need help. Our people need to be tougher emotionally and mentally. Our worried thoughts of an unstable future is overcoming our minds and making our rash decisions. We need some time to breath and recollect ourselves. All we hear about is horror and blood shed. I want to cry every time I hear the news.
Realities of our nation are being developed by our criminals. We are suffering for their crimes. Criminals are pulling ahead in the game of life. Trust in our banks, trust in our corporate world, trust in our government is slowly fading. Is the change we are waiting for?
It’s time for the American people to stop relying on others and rely on themselves. We need to stop living on borrowed time and borrowed finances. It’s time to take ownership with ourselves. We can make our own ground solid. Our nation needs to recreate itself. We rely too much on everyone else’s work and decision making. It’s time to take control of our home.

I like it, as scarey as it is, it’s true. I am glad I am not raising a child at this time, but I know that your’s will be wiser than we are are.
