Pedophilia
A possible Idea I have on them.
As many people known Pedophilia is a dangerous problem. People who are victims of pedophilia are more likely to become an abuser their self. But why do people become this way? Well I have a theory. Maybe there is a virus that causes pedophilia. It could be that pedophiles are infected with a virus that affects the brain. This could cause them to become this way and when they abuse others they spread the virus to them and increase the chances of the victim becoming a pedophile. If this theory is true then in theory we could try and find a cure for the virus and cure pedophiles. If there isn’t a way to cure it then maybe we could try to deactivate the virus at least so it won’t be working anymore. My idea on why people who are abused are likely to become abusers later is maye it the virus shares traits with a std i.e. it spreads though contact that is sexual in nature.

My own theory is that pedophilia is a fetish like any other and should be seen as such, not a worldwide epidemic. You can’t cure a fetish, but you can control it.
I estimate that less than 1% of pedophiles act on their fetishes. Just as about 1% of guro fans actually murder someone.
Does it make sense to imprison 99% of a group of people for crimes 1% committed?
Of course, I’m making up those statistics because no official studies have ever been done. THAT is worrisome. That means we’re prosecuting pedophiles left and right regardless of if they’ve harmed kids or not. It’s like arresting people for watching violent movies because some people who watch the same movies commit violent crimes.
