Piracy

Piracy is a growing concern for me as an individual because I can see the effects of it on people at home and companies all around the world.

There are a few reasons that more and more people have stopped buying software, music, movies and games and I will explain some of the reasons to you. Firstly, pirated stuff is so easy to get now its not even funny. Anyone can search up on Google what they want and they can get it. There are also many P2P sharing programs that people use to share their illegal stuff. Everything is made so easy for us and there are barely any restrictions.

Secondly, people download and share illegal stuff because everything is incredibly expensive now. The companies that make software and games are trying to make massive profits but ironically, they lose incredible amounts of money because of their overpriced stuff.

If the companies lowered the prices, more people would actually buy their software or games. As you can see there are a few different reasons why people do illegal stuff and there are many more reasons.
