Plea Bargaining

plea bargaining has emerged as a wide source for the easy settlement of disputes. its is basically in regard with criminal cases … 

now let us start with initial m basic thing that what is PLEA BARGAINING is about. it is basically pleading guilty in return of compensation… in legal terms compensation indicates monetary value. 

suppose a person met with an accident, n the accused who hit that person pleaded guilty n ready for giving some monetary assistance. so here the option lies with the injured person whether he want that accused should get punished or want monetary value. if see in general view then for sure we would love to go for the option of monetary value.. this helps the accused n injured person too… this is plea bargaining..

so in legal terms plea bargaining is the off-court settlement of disputes. one thing should be considered that this principle doesn’t apply to civil cases.
