I think that it is only normal that all of us want some authority in our lives at least once in a blue moon. Even the most reserved and meek of all the individuals out there still like to have some sort of power. Also, there are those who want to have a lot of power. Where would you put yourself if you had to rank? If you think that you need a high level of power, then maybe you would want to be in a powerful position like maybe as a mayor or judge. Even a governor or president, why not? That sounds good and of course you will be having so much power that it is crazy. If not, you can still become a simple police officer. This way you will still have the authority for helping the innocent and even condemning the guilty. Does this sound really good to you? I do not know, but this thing is just not right for me personally. I just do not want to have to be dealing with the scums like the cops do on a daily basis. As for me, I just want to kick back, relax, and turn on my police scanners.

It was just the other day that I was thinking that it is really cool that the public, I mean we, have access to things like modern police scanners. You may be one of those who is asking, “Now what do I want police scanners for?” I am not surprised at all with this reaction. Then, I begin to wonder now about those journalists and reporters. I bet that a whole lot of them, if not all, are carrying police scanners with them. I think that this is just the coolest way to get the newest scoop before anyone else or another network does. This just makes a lot of sense to me.
