Predators online
A look at these people.
Are laws tough on online crimes?
There is a television show that catches predators that try and have sex with girls under the age of 18. A lot of guys, once caught and confronted by the host try and say that they did not know the girl they were meeting were under age, sometimes as young as 13, but the reality is, it is just a woman posing as a young girl online and when the guys show up, they are confronted and arrested. When they try and lie about how they did not know the person they were meeting were minors, that’s when the host proves that they knew because he has logs of what was said in the chartrooms and online.
Some of the guys were 36 and thinking they were meeting a girl as young as 13. Why would anyone knowingly talk too a person that young when they are an adult and should know better and what’s worse is sometimes the person that is caught is married or in relationships or has kids, so are laws tough enough against people who look for minors too have sex with? It all depends on where it happens. Just how severe should the punishment be when someone knowingly commits these crimes? I think it should be severe and long, very long prison sentences because these people could ruin a child’s life if these people actually were to have sex with someone as young as 13.
