Prisons and Crime The Out of Control Reality
Prisons are big business for Private operators.
Society in general, is the source of the consequences and the media that promotes the fictional believe system, as to their purpose, in society. Firearms in America, are nothing more than, just a expression of cultural norms, norms which mandate intimidation, deadly force and violence as the only means of being accepted universally into the dynamics of American society.Generally, this is not the case for most Americans, but for a minority, it is reflected in the form of crime.
Poverty is not the only motive for desperation in society but it is a key primer for it. So we see crime in the wealthy as well, but in the form of white collar crime, which can be just as devastating for the victims as any crime.
For the fringe members of society, crossing social norms is acceptable and only means apparent to them in a society that demands results instantly.Psycho paths are a example and clearly their numbers are surprisingly high in society. They get self gratification via other means, that being bullies or abuse of a spouse or partner. Others only through crossing social boundaries and of course we get crime and prisons.
It is simple human nature to take the easiest path to a goal, it works that way in nature. Crime in the world is basically attributed to this. It is not a crime unless you get caught,is the normal attitude towards the issue in human behavior. With that reality in mind, it then implies and demands that the easiest means is by the use of deadly force which a firearm represents. the ease of obtaining one encourages the action of use.
Long term sentences in the United States does nothing more than make individuals hardened as after words they have little other alternatives as society forever brands them as outcasts. In fact in the United States has incarceration rates that increased by nearly 3% in the past year alone. There are about 2,245,000 inmates in U.S. prisons as of this date, which flies in the face of gun activists who claim, guns reduce crime. It appears on the surface that incarceration, is the real reason, but crime rate reduction, but it is something that is happening worldwide, examples being the U.K. and Canada both nations enjoy vastly less crime even if they had a crime increase.
