Rethinking Car Chases

Rethinking how they will proceed to chase suspect seem to be a hot item, once someone is hurt over a traffic violation. All the officers(those allowed to speak) because it’s a robotic system now run with the written comment, we constant hear them say. If it’s putting people life in danger then we put back or call it off.

All the officers wives and ex officers buy into that. But some officers love to push speed to the limit to catch a panicky driver wanted for a tail light or seat belt law. Sure if it’s a major reason we all support that pursuit to a point.

But we the citizens question everything that the police do. Because it’s really a matter of choice in what they try. While I’m criticizing them, I realize they in a catch-22. can’t win either way. We have a problem with the Swat team. Some of them think they a hit squad that shouldn’t exist, if they sharpshooters who can’t injure the suspect hands. Death is more likely then injuries from them.

And that’s how we see car chases from the police department. Ask a good majority of people once the  suspect is finally caught the officers are enraged that simple logic in them are frustrated rage now.

And what next might be police brutality. And after that might be the department and city getting sued by the suspect.
