“Hell, hell is for children”As Pat Benetar made those words famous in her pop number one song back in the early 80’s, real life portrays a more haunted and true picture of the damages that physical abuse, neglect, sexual abuse and so many other cruelties that are and have been inflicted upon children that everyday life offers a new form of torment on any particular day. According to one well known Psychiatrist Lloyd DeMause who published an article in the journal of psychohistory winter 1998 “(The history of childhood has been a nightmare from which we have only recently begun to awaken).” The further back one goes up until present day from one end of this massive globe to another one is sure to find the evil faces of neglect and cruelty. Children who have been killed, rejected, beaten, exploited, terrorized and sexually abused by their caretakers and others. Children carry such innate qualities and one true quality is forgiveness. Even a child who is severely neglected or abused will protect their parent for he or she is more afraid of being taken into unknown waters shall we say then to be removed from the familiar place they call home. Most of us are appalled at the horrible cruelties we hear but we wonder how many of those same people turn a blind eye to abuses they witness or are aware of because they simply don’t want to get involved. How many of those people are reading this article right now? Statistically speaking it has been said that most of us growing up has had at least three friends who have been subjected to sexual or physical abuse as a regular form of discipline. I would say breaking a paddle on a child’s back is abuse, I would say repeatedly trying to control, manipulate and suffocate your child to the point where the parent has to hold this arrogant air well into that child’s late teen and adulthood years is also abuse. Let’s not even forget to mention the pedophiles that prey on the innocent, the murderer. The lists can go on and on. To take a look at what was written in one pre history article” (New Guinea as is so often true in preliterate cultures. The mothers have long post-partum taboos against sex with their husbands, sleep naked with their children until they are about four, have orgasms while nursing them and regularly masturbate them. )“Not a pretty picture but as the world continues to spin we too are spinning out of control into the realm of violence.

Powerful stuff here. I have zero tolerance for child abuse of ANY kind! There is no worse form of atrocity in this world!
