Sniper John Allen Muhammad Wants Clemency

Sniper John Allen Muhammad Wants Clemency.

Sniper John Allen Muhammad, who is due to be executed in November 2009, wants clemency.  He is clearly guilty for what he did!  He is a murderer and needs to be executed!

Muhammad and Malvo terrorized the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area (District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia) in October 2002.  By the end of October 2002, ten people had been shot and killed by Muhammad and Malvo.  Three other people were shot, but had survived luckily.

To me, the trials for these two horrible murderers have dragged on and on.  The families of the victims murdered as well as the ones who survived need closure.  Why these two guys went on a killing spree is beyond me!  According to Malvo, who finally told the truth on stand, him and Muhammad had planned to kill six white people a day, which would be 180 white people in a month.  I guess is that they did not like white people.  In addition, Malvo had said that Muhammad wanted to kill a pregnant woman and a police officer.  I am guessing again that they did not like police officers.  As for the pregnant woman, I am clueless regarding that.

Whether or not Muhammad and Malvo disliked white people, they had no right whatsoever to go on a killing spree!  They have reeked havoc and turned peoples’ lives upside down!  Now, Muhammad wants clemency!  How about Muhammad as well as Malvo apologize deeply to the victims’ families for what they had done.  It will not bring back their deceased family members, loved ones, but it will give some type of closure.  Also, being that Muhammad is going to be put to death, it will bring closure there as well.

Life behind bars without the right to socialize with other inmates would be a better lesson. But those who choose to take the lives of others (it not being self defence) may have no expectation of sympathy.
