Yes, Yes, Yes. I can fully relate to this story. Our society is so focused on the idea of curbing crime, that they are in reality creating more crime by denying people employment for petty offences that were commited and paid for in the past. The police are arreating people for J-walking, drinking an open beer, tresspassing, running a red light, arguing with a spouce, etc. etc. Normal every day things that are no harm to others, yet these people are labelled as FELONS and can not obtain a job for having a prison record. It is a crying shame. They want to put all these people in prison. "The womans prison population has doubled since welfare was cut off. Our leaders were building prisons like wild fire anticipating that they were going to be filled up with desperate people. Prison is the larges profit making business in this country. Employers who JUDGE those who made a mistake, or acted out of stupidity, and was arrested for it, are the contributors of crime. What is a desperate person suppose to do? I know exactly what you are talking about. Many homeless people have gotten where they are now for the same reasons. I truly sympathize with you. ?The poor are nothing but collateral damage to those who prey on them for profit. That is why this country is going down the tubes.
