The Corrupts System of Gladwin
A short explanation of how I think the legal system in gladwin county is corrupt.
I used to live in Gladwin, MI and while i was lving there I was harrassed by the cops on a daily basis starting when i turned 16. The Gladwin cops seem to get a kick out of harrassing teenagers even when they are doing nothing wrong. There was one day that i was just walking down the street in the middle of the day and a cop car pulled up and the cop got out, asked me for idea and then searched me. Now, i could understand him doing that if i had ever been in trouble with the law before, but thats the thing, i had never been in trouble with the law before. When i asked him why he searched me, all he did was say “Don’t worry about.” and he got in his car and drove off.
The court system isnt really any better. They have a judge there that has gotten multiple DWI’s and yet hes never done any jail time. And hes still a judge. Hes actually the jusdge that sentences people for DWI’s too. Honestly, i recomend that if you don’t want to deal with a corrupt system then for sure don’t move to Gladwin county.

Sorry to disappoint you, but it is the same way everywhere. I lived in the poor white section of Dayton, Ohio and the cops there are NAZI’s. They must get a bonus for Quota’s because they arrest people for anything and nothing. It is terrifying. People are afraid to come out of their homes. Not because they are afraid of crime. But because they are afraid of the police. It is true that, “Absolute power corrupts,” We give our leaders way too much power. And you are right, those who convict, commit the same crimes and get away with them because of WHO they are. Great Story!!!! It’s the TRUTH!!!!!

Its not like that everywhere. I lived in phoenix and police dont bother harrassing people but actually doing there job. Gladwin police are really pushin it. The court and the police talk and assume but really go off of facts or whats just. The police have control of whats written in the county paper. There is no way of getting the truth out unless you pay for tv advertisment or radio broadcasts. Something needs to be done about Gladwin or any small town that is being leeched of a curropt police/court system. We pay them in taxes and they take back double!!
