The Federal Bureau of Investigation
FBI – The G men.

Some would think the Federal Bureau of Investigators are powerful than the Central Intelligence unit. Especially, when they investigated the intelligence unit and caught Aldrich Ames, second in command many years ago. And since the golden days of Pretty Boy Floyd, and the mob. They was the unit to be in.
Not that J. Edgar Hoover, was the best top official to work for. Not that the group hadn’t earned some of the bad press they of this modern time. It been reported that Hoover, didn’t like someone to outshine him. And that make sense. No president wants to be out shone by his vice president either.
But in the golden days, when they was the spy catchers in America. We hardly knew much about the other agencies. And it probably only amaze me. Why don’t a strong president eliminate the Central Intelligence and Secret Service departments, and blend them into the Federal Bureau unit.
Sure some going to say. One investigate, and the other spy, and the other protect the president. But, don’t mean they can’t adapt. I know a highway patrol officer has the same training as the local police. One fall under the governor. While one fall under the mayor. But, nothing impossible.
Just understanding the rules. And regulations. We all know, if a mayor can be governor, and manage a state. Or senator can go to the presidential office. These department can adapt under the FBI umbrella.
