Wallet Theft Prevention

by Leon Mitchell in Crime, July 27, 2008

Learn to prevent your wallet from being stolen.

You know, people have always come to the police or other places saying their wallet has been stolen ever since the wallet was invented. There are actually a few ways to prevent this from happening to you.

  1. Put your wallet in a pocket you can see just by looking down, try not to put it in your back pocket if you have a feeling it might get stolen.
  2. Carry a fake wallet in your back pocket so they won’t try to go after the other.
  3. (vigilante approach) Purchase a tracking mechanism from an army surplus store, put it in the fake wallet, let them steal the wallet and use the tracking mechanism to lead the police to him (excellent work detective!).
  4. Put a small pin in your back pocket, elastic band the wallet to the pin, you should notice the pulling sensation and hopefully stop the thief before he breaks the band.
