The Conclusion of One Woman’s Theory
This I feel was the start of the idea behind the witness protection program because Mr. Howard was protected by the authorities, received a name change, money for relocation for himself and his family. Mr. Jessie James Howard was never again to be seen or heard from in the state of Missouri by any family member. Mr. Howard as it was legend died an old man in the state of New York. This is of course one woman’s version of how the witness protection program took birth and how the infamous Jessie James Howard became one of the first candidates but not proved by any documented witness has or reports. This is just one woman’s idea behind the James legend that helps create the witness protection program.

I liked this version of Jessie James, it almost makes you feel his legend continues in another unique way. That in the end he helped others by being a part of this scheme. A great Theory! Thanks Jessie

Hi I woke up this morning looking for interesting articles to read and found this one. I really liked your view point. It is an interesting concept. I suppose that a theory is a theory an who knows maybe it all began just that way. Good story line. Keep writing, Deb

I thought this article interesting and the theory very possible. I believe that it is not exactly true, however, that perhaps it all started even earlier during the Revolutinary War, but thats my opinion. –good article KL
