Death
Just a rant about death.
If you’re Buddhist however, then you don’t believe any of that, you just believe that you are reborn into suffering, or Samsara. (I don’t know why I’m addressing you as you, seeing as if YOU are Buddhist, you already know what you believe.)
But the point is, what is death? If we have a soul, is it the point the soul leaves the body? And if it does, where does it go? Is it when we have been judged and deemed worthy to go to heaven or hell? Or it it when we die, and see nothingness? What is death? We cannot perceive the nothingness that is the end, as we cannot understand what was before the universe. (Well, it was probably another universe imploding on itself, but nevertheless, where did that one come from?)
I have steered from the point. My point is…
Well, I don’t really have a point. I just like to voice my opinion, but if I did have a point, which I should have just so I can write a conclusion, it is another question. And my conclusion is only another question because it’s 1:29 am when I’m writing this and there is no internet connection here and I don’t want to write whole other paragraph on this question, so instead I’m going to make it hypothetical so you can thing and comment if you want…
So, in conclusion, who came up with the idea of life after death? Surely death is the end of life? And is death truly the end of it all, like a colossal weight taken off your shoulders? Or is it just even more problems piling up, but in this life you’re a moose???
