Loosing The One You Love

How to cope when you have lost the one you love.

Death is hard no matter how you slice it.  And unless someone has experienced it for themselves, they do not or cannot know what you are going through.  It can be the most difficult thing you ever have to face.  You mind goes through all of the what ifs, was it my fault, and, oh yeah, I can not call them anymore.  You can be fine one minute and it can hit you like a ton of bricks the next, just by a thought of that person.  A glance at a piece of clothing, a random thought that can bring you tumbling down again.  Getting through these times is very hard and can impact you for the rest of your life.  It seems as time passes, the days do get easier.  You remember the funny things and quirks about that special someone.  Your life does go on, even though while you are in the middle of it you cannot see how it possibly could.  With life there is only one thing that is constant and that is change.  It does not mean we have to like it or grow accustomed to it.  We just have to deal with it when it comes.  Leaning on someone else is sometimes so hard to do but can help so much.  Just being able to vocalize your feelings instead of dealing with them all yourself can bring you to a reasonable sort of sanity.  Life is full of laughter and joy and you can make it back there again.
