Manhattan Resident Hangs Himself

A man is found hanging from an apartment complex, but his identity is mysterious and not found.

An NYPD report stated that a man in his mid-twenties lving in Washington Heights had committed suicide on December 15, 2010. He was found hanging from his apartment complex with a noose around his neck. Police investigation report that the man was a medical student. His motives for committing suicide is unknown.

Witnesses say that the man had become extremely anti-social and had holed up in his apartment room for several weeks before. It is to be believed that the man was mentally unstable, but witness reports state otherwise. An elderly women described the man as a “shy, but nice man who happened to live in the wrong place.” The witness that saw and reported the suicide to police decided to remain anonymous, but said that the man’s “neck was snapped, he was [expletive] frozen, his neck looked snapped…”

Police refused to give the man’s identity due to the fact that there was no relatives nor loved one’s who knew the man well. What baffled police more is the note they found in the man’s pocket, which was a simple letter with a heading, but no body. The letter was assumed by police to be a suicide note, but was found to be blank. The letter, according to witnesses and a police officer on the scene, was addressed to “B” and was addressed from “Dr. Manhattan”. It is unclear what this letter means.

May he rest in peace.
