All I want to say forgive me Allah If i did such a sin & my family…I feel like going to the gap and I m thinking about it. This is my life and i m not very happy at all bt I try hard to make myself happy everyday……………….. Such is life.

You forgot about The Gap (in Watson’s Bay) in Australia. Something like 50 people jump from the 260+ foot cliffside & die each year. It’s the most notorious suicide spot in Australia.

They were smart enough to put barriers on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and as soon as they did, it ceased to be a spot people jumped from. Now they are talking of putting up barriers at The Gap as well as install CCTV cameras and put up emergency phone stations to try and curb the number of deaths.

I think people commit suicide, jump or kill themselves in these beautiful places because they are also the most dangerous places no safety at all and when people fell, jump, Authority consider them as having depression and problems so they can avoid search for bodies and safe them, many people fell from those places not jumped, for example Niagara falls in death trap no safety at all the rail are short and just any size of person can slid between them my brother was standing and laying his back against the rail he was joking and saying I can jump over this rail, this is nothing and as you know some time unconsciously you brain will do what you say so he did it and fell on horseshoe fall his body never found till now. it was biggest tragedy for our family if this place had tall fence my brother would be alive today he was 23 years old full of live and he and my family were just visiting the place for weekend get away, after he fell Authority came and instead starting the search right away they start to pull the tourist back and questioning my family why jumped. it was 8:00PM summer time by the time they finish with questions it was already dark and too late to be found or safe.

i jumped off of beachy head and survived.one of a few if any to do so.i chose the location for its beauty and it was nearby.

I want to end it all and soon, but suffer from vertigo. Ok, you jump and hit the water soon from a bridge, but how long to die in the water? That is my greatest fear. At least from a high building you SHOULD be dead almost instantly. How did that bloody woman feel who survived? Did the man she married end her problems? I think not – problems are in the mind.
