My Thoughts on Pain and Death

by Nita Waya in Death, July 24, 2008

I read a verse from the Bible describing death as an angel. And I’m one of those deep thinkers, so I tend to go deeper into the subject and eventually, I realized pain was involved in death. So I wrote my thoughts about them both.

The Bible that describes death as an angel. But anyway, I think the reason everyone is so scared of death, is because there is usually pain involved in it. That’s why most people in the world are scared of spiders, snakes, and, well, flying insects like wasps and bees. The people that are scared of them aren’t scared of the bee itself, just the painful feel when it stings you. Sure, in our conscious mind we think, “Ah! that bee, over there, it’s coming this way”
But in our sub-conscious mind, we’re thinking, “Ah! That pain, over there, it’s coming this way!”

Don’t you agree?

I mean, most of the people that aren’t afraid of death just think that they’ll live forever because God won’t let them die. Well, if you’re one of those people, I got something to tell you: You’re gonna die one way or another! If you want to conquer fear of death and pain, than this is what I will say to you. This life you live in now, it’s boring. Even if you’re one of those rich people that, as they say, “Has everything.” Death is a whole new adventure! No one can tell you what it’s like. No one can tell you what’s going to happen. If you want to experience an adventure like any other, you’re going to have to experience a little pain. And that is what I think on the two subjects pain and death. What about you?

I think your right on. I for one am not afraid of death, in fact I will welcome it with open arms, the last to hold me will be death and I also think of what a glorious adventure it will be.
    Peace and love, Sylvain Cecile
