Someone to Remember Me

A young man is weeping at a grave. He just lost a very dear friend who has always been his mentor, his guide. He recalls his friends´ life and the impact his friend had on his life and the life of so many other people. ´The place you leave no one can fill.´ he says quietly to his friend. Then he puts down a white rose on his friends grave and sits down on a bench nearby.
He still remembers the beautiful funeral. He never realised just how many people had been touched by his friend during his lifetime. All of them showed up and expressed their gratitude. It made him wish that someone would remember him just as dearly after he is gone.

Very poignant and something we all think about. Maybe a coincidence but also very meaningful on this day.
