Pcso- Its Not Just About Winning

Philippine Charity Sweepstake Office is not just falling in line to win the lottery.

When we here the word Lottery, PCSO(Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office would be the first though in our mind. When we are a child we use to accompany our parents falling in line just to place their bets. The winning prize is really tempting and some would place more than two just to increase their chances. Recently the Lottery’s Jackpot prize in the Philippines kick for more than P200M. The jackpot prize attracted more lotto bettors to try their luck in guessing the 6 digit combination. But if you would weight it out, you can see that the amount being invested by Filipinos are way more than the jackpot prize. So where are these fund going then?

Do you ever wonder how and how great their purpose is?

As it’s name implies, they are doing charity out of the funds accumulated from Sweepstakes and other lottery activities. It is a countrywide fund-raising.

Last year, I visited PCSO Office to help one of my friend begging for fund with his/her illness. Initially I look for their website to confirm the schedules and requirements. We’ve been there early in the morning to make it on time. There’s a lot of people with different medical needs who fall in line to ask help.

Their assistance are listed below. You would also find a hard copy of the requirements within the PCSO Office.

So what have we experienced on our initial venture. I have been falling in line there for two reason,s one is for my friend and the other one is for my mom. they have different cases.

First thing that caught my attention is a bunch of ambulance park within the site. So the charity works of PCSO is visible Thu that alone.

Second thing is the location on where to fall in line on initial inquiry. The inquiry is located almost at the backyard of the building. You should bring all the necessary papers for you not to be disappointed on going back again. As far as I can remember we did going back to the site again. Number one most simple requirement is the letter of request to the chairman or president, stating your need for the charity service addressed to the chairman.

After several days of pushing our luck in the line to receive our request. We are directed to another charity section, the clinic of specialist. They would re-assess your health if you really need to intake the medicine you are asking of. This made us patronizing PCSO every other month to visit the specialist and have a regular consultation every Monday(Specialist have their own schedule). For these I would like to give thanks to Dr. Ismael. We call him DR.SMILE.

If you have relative of let’s say love ones in the Philippines who need help. Then proceed to PCSO Office to save and help you out.

If you have question about it’s location. I could help.,

Yes, PCSO is not only for winning, Just two weeks ago my sister-in-law was hospitalized and the bill reached 120,000 pesos. Thanks to PCSO, for their open arms to help in-need individuals. Nice share.

Indeed. Some just have the wrong thought about PCSO. It was actually created to gather funds through some \”games\” participated by the many. Anyway, no one would give a single peso for the sake of accumulating funds for charity. lol! :-)
