Assam – a Glimpse of My World

Vacations are sometimes a luxury that most of the IT professionals die to indulge in. And we know how to make the best of it, don’t we.

At home, most of the time I was wallowing in pamper, watching HBO and hogging like it’s the last morsel. I gained 2 kgs in one day, while my dad showed off his toned tummy and warned that one day I might have a greater horizontal measure than him. How he lost 10 kgs in 2 months requires a separate post itself.

Next stop was my Nisa’s (Mother’s elder brother) place – Located among the sprawling rice fields. Earlier whenever we visited him, I remember my Nisa used jump into his pond (for fishery) to catch the biggest of the fishes and then pack it for us.

The place is so serene and quiet that one would only hear the sound of crickets at the background. Best place to spend my vacation
