Bernanke Sets Off United States China Currency War
Time is running out for this government and the American people. The feel good speeches and antiquated theories will not return America to the strong and vibrant nation we once were.
As fast as the strength of the dollar increased today, it can decrease even faster. If inflation continues to rise and begins to venture out into other parts of the economy, the dollar could fall to historical lows, surpassing the 1970s era. Since China has artificially devalued their currency below its true values, their currency could in fact see an upsurge in value. By simply decreasing the amount of exports for precious materials and products they could increase the demand and manipulate the price of everything on the open market. The rest of the world will run to replace the dollar as the world reserve currency and China will look better and better.
The only option President Obama has is to cut back and repeal some of the grandiose spending bills the last Congress enacted. In the eyes of the rest of the world, getting a handle on and reducing our national debt is the most important thing. In America we just want jobs. To reduce unemployment and let the private industry start to reinvest in America, President Obama must drop the Keynesian Theory and make America more business friendly. Lowering the taxes and easing federal regulations against businesses in America will create more jobs and will undoubtedly add to the federal budget with increased tax revenues.
With the new 2011 Congress President Obama needs to get off the Green economy band wagon and admit what everyone already knows. Oil and coal are the life blood of industrialized nations around the world. Our immediate economic future is not in electric cars, trains, buses, ships, or planes. The technology is not and will not be out there in the foreseeable future. America must return to our days of producing and manufacturing instead of importing and servicing. Its a simple fact of life that a nation that produces nothing but relies on importing everything is a nation doomed to failure.
Time is running out for this government and the American people. The feel good speeches and antiquated theories will not return America to the strong and vibrant nation we once were. Now is the time this government must act in the best interest of the country and worry less about ideological theories that could one day bring about that mythical land of Utopia. The days of Camelot ended with John F. Kennedy and cannot be replaced with Barack Obama. These are serious times and time for serious commitments by our government and the American people. Politicians and American citizens must refrain from just looking out for themselves but instead put America first. If this means tapping into our own natural resources like oil and coal, we must do it. If it means reducing spending by giving up some of the niceties of life and relying more on ourselves and less on government, we must do it. If it means we must help a small business or faltering business to grow by working for a little less, we must be willing to do it. If it means entering into trade agreements with other nations without demanding those nations meet our labor standards, we must do it. If it means making America the most business friendly nation in the world, we must definitely do it.
