I signed up in VirtaPay by early November, 2011 and have been using the virtual money I received to buy digital materials. Initially I was skeptical about it but having been there for some time now I wish to write the little I know about VirtaPay. This is what they say about themselves.

A self-contained economy: The VirtaPay currency can be used to buy and sell digital goods. It can also be sent and received as payments between VirtaPay users. However, at this time, it cannot yet be used to purchase physical goods or exchanged for world currencies such as the US Dollar, Euro, British Pound, Japanese Yen, etc.

So, when you make sales, they will send you a physical check or electronically deposit your earnings in your bank account.
