Start here ....World War II...  30-40 years after the war we enjoyed no competition in labor, education, manufacturing, and quality.  Now, it&#039;s a different world...Trade deficits lead to jobless economic growth starting in the 90&#039;s; yet slow job growth starts in the late 70&#039;s.  Wow, what do you know... first years toyota was dealing their cars here.  Not a coincidence.   We now compete with the rest of the world and we will eventually look like it or Europe, assuming we find a niche.  The American dream was created by rebuilding the world after WWII.  It&#039;s over now.   Anyway, that&#039;s the root cause of this economic condition.   </description>
