Credit Crunch Courage

As we all know the world is in recession. Jobs are going left right and centre making unemployment rise to worrying heights, college students in ttheir last year of college are now expecting a degree and a list of directions to the nearest social welfare offices. Not exactly what they had planned whilst doing their leaving certificate. Yes the future looks dim for people who don’t see the glass as being half full but those of us out there who like to think of the glass as being half full are starting to go for broke!!!
Sure we do have a great time every Friday as we go to collect the bare minimum to live off of as it’s now become “hip” to be skint. Although it’s finally hit people to go for their dreams, give it a shot see what happens! Things can’t get any worse thats why a friend of mine started writing childrens stories, she has always wanted to but tought her job would get in the way and since she lost her job she said what the heck I’ll give it a go. As the story turns out she wrote a few books and took them to all the publishers in Ireland and none of them wanted to know they didn’t think the books would sell, so without giving up hope she went to England and carried on trying publisher after publisher and yes she got her books published and now she is living her dream writing childrens stories and even better she is beating the Credit Crunch!!!
This story has given me the courage thanks to family giving me support aswell to try my dream and see if I have enough talent to get my song lyrics published! So now I am writing as many songs, chorus’s and verses as I can in my adventure to win a contract writing for artists. If I don’t succeed at least I will have given it a shot and I will only be in the same boat as I am now.
What I am trying to say is if you are sat at home seven days a week and you have a dream that you always wanted to do then go for it there is no shame in failure just shame in letting the moment pass, this is a great oppurtunity for everyone around the world. I hope this has encouraged you to follow your dream and I wish you all the luck in the world.
