Cyber Monday Deals!

Black Friday is the busiest day of the year for Christmas shopping; the malls are flooded with people as they scramble through the labyrinth of stores in search for good deals.

A lot of people do not realize that you can find just as good of deals online, hence the famous day is known as Cyber Monday.  There is a lot of competition out there in the retail world and many businesses are competing for consumer dollars. 

There are over 700 retailers, ranging from J.C. Penney to L.L. Bean, which give incredible bargains for those willing to take the time to browse the internet.  And 22% of these companies are willing to throw in Free Shipping with the consumer’s purchase.  Gotta love that!

I was reading in an article that a 40 inch television was originally $700 but has been drastically reduced to $550, an overall savings of $150! 

Some people turn to online shopping to avoid the mad rush of people at the malls or other stores, not to mention the incredibly slow traffic.  Do not get me wrong, I am all about the holiday shopping, but if I can simplify my life a little, I will go digital to look for the bargains.

Another good thing about online shopping is that it is good for the economy; I realize that money is tight and hard to come by, especially when there are millions of people out of work, but to buy items at reduced price is definitely lighter on the wallet.
