Economic Blindness

What is the blindness to everyone’s economic problems? Why is it so hard to understand that people having problems paying bills, can not pay more? How many more of those who try, should we condemn before they find an alternative to caring at all?

Lower incomes, then raise cost of living…?

I pay my bills however I can, which means I pay them before I pay myself and I have not taken a day off in years. Yet if one payment gets a little behind, I am penalized so badly that it is almost doubled when I try to make it up before they add another month. Now how many people already have said to heck with even trying, for reasons like this? Do they really believe that if they strong arm one person who tries, he will make up for all of those who have already blown them off? Or will that one person (like I am thinking) just join the rest of the masses who have already made this country more known for its foreclosures and bad dept, than a land of prosperity? They are in fact only exercising their right to pursue their own happiness. Should they really be the ones to blame when their income has been lowered so drastically that there is barely enough left to go out? And yet there are many of those who still have some strange idea that squeezing them harder will magically help.

Instead of making sure Americans have jobs, it is almost encouraged to hire criminals. Or is the word ‘illegal’ now a grey area whenever it is convenient.

I just read somewhere that there are 12 million illegal aliens in this country. Am I the only that sees that as millions of Americans without jobs? Do you really believe that there are that many American Citizens refusing to do that many jobs? I have seen American Citizens pumping the solid waste out of another person’s septic tank. Do you seriously believe there is any job we refuse to do, or is it more likely a matter of pay?

Has anyone bothered to do any kind of study to determine how many of these ‘Illegals’ are applying for credit cards, buying houses, or doing any real spending here in our country? Yet we are told to look at how smart they are, and how they do not let their pride get in the way when they live with maybe three families in one house. I see two other houses that are not rented or bought, while most of their income is sent back home to bring others here to do the same thing. Why is it so hard to see that one home has already cut the cash flow by 2/3s, and the effect so far has not even been multiplied by the millions who are doing it.
