Husbands for Hire
by Most of us probably knows someone who for a small fee, help their neighbors and their friends in the minor repair work. Once such person was called “handy-man”, today they are “husbands for hire”.
They do simple home repairs not requiring special qualifications. The most wanted services include: screwing the door from the kitchen cabinets, repairing the socket, changing the washer in tap.
But “husbands for hire” are also helpful in the garden work, and such activities as shopping, and receiving children from school or walking out the dog.
All over the world you can find many companies engaged in such activities. Even before “husbands for hire” appeared, in the market there were cleaning companies and electric service companies. What is new however, it’s a combination of all the small services under one umbrella, and their name.
What is very important, the services of “husbands for hire” are often cheaper than a visit of a specialist, such as plumber or electrician. This is beneficial for the customers, because many home repairs do not require special equipment or great technical expertise. You need a bit of cunning and desire, and these are the qualities that are the domain of “husbands for hire”.

Great idea, but most wives will not trust their husbands with other neighbors, especially if they are single good looking women.
