Dallas,Texas is the second largest city in the Southwest.

Oklahoma City explained quickly after petroleum was found in Oklahoms in the 1920s.The oil industry is still important there,but today,Oklahoma City is far more than just an oil center.
Oklahoma City is the capital of the state of Oklahoma.It has many factories that make automobile parts,construction equipment,and electronic equipment.Many companies that produce machines and tools for the oil industry started in Oklahoma City.
Dallas,Texas,began to grow in the 1870s,when the railroads came.The city became an important cotton-marketing center.Dallas is now a business center.It has more insurance companies than any other city in the United States.Many banks are located in Dallas,which is now the second most populated city in the Southwest.
