Japan’s Exports

A short paper about the exports of Japan.

Japan gets most of the supplies needed for manufacturing from the USA.  Japan is receiving aircraft, coal, logs, soybeans, and wheat that they don’t have the resources around them to generate.  If Japan were to suddenly have a down fall in their factories, there would be a massive amount of people unemployed.  The reason for this is because Japan’s manufacturing companies employ more than one-fourth of the population of Japan.

Japan is one of the only countries that still do whaling, which is an ancient form of killing whales with harpoons and spears.  The whaling process is a major export of Japan.  Not only do the Japanese have whaling as a major export they also lead the world in tuna fish, which is then exported out of the country.

Japan depends on their exports for the financial wealth of their country.
