Mo’ Money
What is the value of money?
If I met Bill Gates today, I would ask him two questions:
1. Now that you have acquired these much, and become so wealthy, do you believe it is all in vain?
2. More money, more problems. If you could turn back the wheels of time and see the future, with all the problems that come with wealth, would you do it all over again?
I haven’t had the opportunity to be closely associated with anyone of great affluence. Only if I could get hold of Richard Branson or Warren Buffet. But I can’t, so I will only refer to someone I read about. He was wealthy, very wealthy, probably the wealthiest man to ever set foot on the green grass of this earth. It was his greatest believe to give.
After acquiring so much, he said everything was/is vanity. Everything is chasing of the wind. I don’t know his last name but they called him Solomon.
Not only was he rich as can be, he is probably the wisest man to grace the earth as well.
So if someone who in all his wisdom and acquired wealth could end up with a mentality like that, what hope do I have? What should I chase other than the wind? Money, opposite sex, or something else?
The most popular book in the world says money answers all things. I tend to want to believe it.
Should I keep chasing money? Or do I settle for less?
Help me!!!

I remembered this story I’d heard (from a site): “The was an old wise cat and a small kitten in an alleyway. The old cat saw the kitten chasing its tail and asked, “Why are you chasing your tail?”
To it the kitten replied, “I’ve been attending cat philosophy school and I have learned that the most important thing for a cat is happiness, and that happiness is my tail. Therefore, I am chasing it: and when I catch it, I shall have happiness forever.”
Laughing, the wise old cat replied, “My son, I wasn’t lucky enough to go to school, but as I’ve gone through life, I too have realized that the most important thing for a cat is happiness, and indeed that it is located in my tail. The difference I’ve found though is that whenever I chase after it, it keeps running away from me, but when I go about my business and live my life, it just seems to follow after me wherever I go.”

So, basically, the point is that you don’t have to ‘chase’ after happiness, money or anything else that you want. It will come naturally to you once you are doing what you love. <3 Hope that helped. :]
