Profit Over People

A summary of how the private sector is exploiting us and how they are gaining more power leading to fascism.

The private sector has become so powerful, that only the wealthy can maintain successful now that we are witnessing the monopolization of banks, goods and services, and natural resources. Just about every industry in the private sector is defeating the competition and becoming a monopoly. While the big corporation are getting tax cuts and finding loopholes to exploit through lobbied deregulation, the little guy or small businesses are being heavily taxed and regulated. This is designed to keep the little guy down to ensure less competition and monopoly power for big business. The private sector can only work for the people when there is democratic participatory competition. There is little competition left so the government must be that competition.  The government is the peoples club to fight back at the corporate interest that dominate our policy. Government funded private entities through subsidies and contracts will bring cost down via competition.

Natural resources and health care should never be privatized. Health care and natural resources must be affordable to everyone and scarce to no man. If you want to talk about class warfare let us talk about the economic genocide of minority third world countries and the economic hit job on the poor and middle class citizens of the USA. The government is only too big in the wrong places.

The corporatocracy is too big and this machine is leading us down the road to fascism. When the government deregulates the economy it only helps the large corporations to step on the small uprising businesses that would create competition and thus loss of profits. Our government has allowed us to be exploited since the Federal Reserve Act was signed into law in 1913. Privatization is all about PROFIT.  When we have a government that is subservient to a private bank like the Federal Reserve we then have a government of the people.  Which is why we see the government has grown in all the wrong places.

You cannot logically argue that a privatized health care system puts people before profit. Insurance companies are made for profit. Profit will always come before the welfare of the people. A soon as you privatize an industry profit decides who qualifies for what resource or service based on risks and profitability. The idea is that through this system the inferior will be left out because they have less worth to society and that is class warfare.

Another example of the private sector out of control is the prison industrial complex. We have the largest prison population in the world with 25% of our population behind bars due to this private system and America only makes up about 5% of the worlds population. Some people are in prison for little reason only because they are profit for the Federal Reserve and the private entities that own the prisons. We the tax payers are paying these private entities to jail people so they keep people as long as possible. How does that make sense?

Our society is sick with advertisements and competition. Everyone is so concerned with flaunting their wealth or pretending to have wealth that they spend beyond their means. Greed, envy, competition, social stratification are all symptoms of a sick society that has allowed corporate interest to run free.

Is it so hard to believe that these institutions would risk failure just to increase profit when that is the inherent nature of capitalism? Profit is the engine that drives capitalism where as consumption is the oil of that engine. Without profit or consumption, capitalism cannot sustain itself.  Ironically profit itself is what ultimately causes its demise, since those that consume will be exploited to increase profits which eventually causes peasant uprisings. Collapse is inevitable just based on the inherit nature of the system itself.

I am not against the private sector but it is time to draw the line and say “there are some thing the private sector just cannot do”.
