Ross Perot Warned Us, "the Devil Was in the Details"

This is about our favorite Texan, Mr. Ross Perot. He made every attempt to warn us of the current financial and economic meltdown we are currently in during his run for the Presidency. He warned us about the "Devil being in the Details". In light of the current 700 Billion dollar bailout which is not working, I felt he needed to be remembered for making an attempt to warn us so long ago.

Do we all remember our favorite Texan?  Once again, Ross, “as I like to call our friend”, has once again come to take our proverbial car keys.  His latest economy based formula on his website “PerotCharts.com”. He offers us his visual snapshot of our past, current and possibly future administrations fiscal wreck after we have driven fiscally under the influence of the past 8 years.

“The Devil is in the details”, he warned us.  He did his very best by telling us time and time again he made every attempt humanly possible to unmask devil before it was too late.  The recent 700 billion dollar bailout plan had lots Devils and details which were overlooked.  There is 140billion dollar Devil which goes directly to the banks which allows them not to be required to pay taxes on their losses to the Federal Government.  Whose responsibility was it to find this little Devil?  Did anyone even look at his Website which was launched shortly after the mention of the request of the 700Billion dollars?

He once warned us that “The Devil is in the Details.”  If anyone has noticed during this election, we were given a choice between a War hero, and Republican nominee, John McCain, who would argue that Mr. Perot should not have been given the keys to our fiscal vehicle at all.  He would further utter the phrase, “The fundamentals of our economy are strong.”  Only to watch as we nose dived into an abyss of the worst financial crisis since the 1930’s. He offered more of the same simply based on the argument that the American leadership has driven like this many times before and us as Americans have always been able to find our way back home to a strong, or at the very least, functional economy.

We were also given the choice of a young, African American Senator from Chicago, Barrak Obama who would argue that he believes Ross should not be given an opportunity to drive, but otherwise suggest that America should take another route instead, based solely on hope and the belief that things can be better if we as a people, working together will overcome this economic adversity.  He is certain that he can possibly lead us there, and that he knows the way, but with his limited experience has himself never taken it.
