The Global Economic Crisis: Fact or Fantasy

An analysis of the global economic crisis.

Everyone knows the world is facing an economic crisis unlike any before it. What is uncertain is the extent of the crisis and how long it will take to recover and return to some sense of normality for the world’s economies. Some people suggest the crisis is an all to obvious fact, while others consider it to be a fantasy. Fact or fantasy people are facing financial hardship and homelessness. Banks are repossessing homes in Australia and overseas as families struggle to meet their mortgage payments. The media broadcasts stories from every angle imaginable; however, what journalist often forget to mention is where the money went. Sceptics consider the figures experts throw around to be false as the business community convinced itself and the public such vast sums of money never existed.

It is almost impossible to believe figures as though they are too fantastic to be real. I argue financial experts are either deluding themselves, or  they are deliberately misleading the wider community for their own purposes. Anyone with basic financial knowledge knows hat money doesn’t magically disappear. Nor that it appears at will.

In conclusion whether the global economic crisis is fact or fantasy, people are facing hardship and homelessness as banks repossess homes worldwide. Nobody knows how long it will take to recover from the current economic crisis and return to some sense of normality.
