United States Economy in Freefall
by Federal Reserve callously printing more money to dump into the market and United States economy could have negative impact on world economy.
President Obama has lost his rock star celebrity status in the world. Gone are the days of multitudes gathering everywhere he goes just to listen to his dreams and promises. After the failed policies of his 2 years as President more and more people are questioning his leadership and the direction he is taking America. It is true, we are a global economy and more countries are relying on each other for trade than ever before in history. It is also true that more countries rely on the dollar as a stable and dependable reserve currency now more than ever before. With this dependency comes strength for America since other countries financial well being depends on the dollar remaining strong against other reserve forms like a fixed exchange based on gold.
Using the market, the dollar and oil as pawns in some global market chess game is dangerous to the stability of the world. Being the leader of the free world has enormous consequences. The position cannot be entered into as if it were a simple game of chess or basketball that has only on winner and one loser. If Mr. Bernanke and President Obama lose in the game they seem to be playing the repercussions will be felt around the world. With the election of Barack Obama not only America but also the world pinned their hopes on the intelligence and promises of a young man that everyone thought to be the next savior of the world. After 2 years those hopes are beginning to be replaced with fear and suspension. In America buyers remorse has set in as proved by the midterm elections. Now Americans are demanding change and no longer pinning their hopes on one individual but have become involved and are making their own decisions as to how this government will be run.
Unlike other nations that have blindly followed their leaders into the night, America will not follow one man without question or hesitation. The beauty lies in our form of government. When any one man or woman fails to represent the best interest of America then that person can be stopped by the Congress and the people they represent. By electing the opposition party with overwhelming numbers in the House and across the country, we have taken the 1st step in stopping President Obama. The next step will come in 2012 when President Obama and the remaining Progressives are removed. Until then the world can take solace in the fact that the House and Senate can and must curtail the Obama agenda.
