Why Today’s Economy Needs Women
by Women today have a big role in our economy’s growth.
Everyday there are new ideas on how to make and save money in these tough economical times. Times are tight, making money has become more difficult than it has been in the past. People are spending less on non-essential products and services. They are choosing to do the little things they once paid others to do.
- Maintain their own yards
- Clean their own homes
- Manicure their own nails
- Color their own hair
- Prepare their own food
- Cut back on daycare services
- Limit their kids after school activities
From the above list you could get the impression our country’s 15 year spending spree was partially due to the women of this country. You could also look at the above list as: The women of this country helped create jobs which provided and income and paid living expenses for those they hired. Our spending habits created jobs. Jobs we no longer hire others to do now that the economy is tight. When we chose to cut back we take jobs away from those who have grown accustom to our spending ways. The circle begins or does it continue?
