2+2=Infinity

Is genius born or bred? It’s a similar question to nature vs. nurture, of course, but nurturing involves “caring,” where breeding involves “training.” I really think that anyone can become a genius level thinker. That isn’t the question. What is the question, simply, is, depending on training, is your genius either enhanced or unenhanced?

What if our school system really is the problem with society today? In the United States, where we are the “land of the free” (ironic and untrue right from the start!), we teach WHAT to think, rather than HOW to think. We are TOLD if you have two apples and two oranges, you have four pieces of fruit. But what happens when reality sets in and one apple is wormy and one orange is going bad? Don’t you then have two pieces of fruit and two pieces of compost?

Of course, I understand that the above example is oversimplified, but really, it’s true. Why don’t we simply put the four articles forward and ask, “What’s here?”

A good case can be made for the wormy apple not being compost, but rather a more complete nourishing meal. Although, even if the apple was completely cooked, unless you were starving, I can’t imagine much of anyone eating it. Regardless, the apple could be both nourishment and compost simultaneously. So, two apples plus two oranges equals three pieces of fruit plus two pieces of compost.

Since the fruit eventually breaks down into dirt, we could say that two apples plus two oranges then equals dirt plus two pieces of fruit, because we determined that one apple and one orange were still good to eat. Of course, even that answer isn’t quite sufficient because, after you eat the fruit, they go through the digestive system and are evacuated out of the body, to eventually become dirt.

Maybe if the dirt became an acronym for something else? For instance, Direct Ion Radiation Theory? But then, two plus two wouldn’t equal D.I.R.T, it would have to equal plain old dirt. However! The general frequency of earth is 7.5Hz, as is the general frequency of the universe. And since dirt equals earth, dirt also equals 7.5Hz, so two plus two then equals 7.5Hz!

HOW can the schools have missed something so complexly simple? What was that quote from Sherlock Holmes? “It’s elementary, my dear Watson,” before he spouted off some completely complex simplicity to solve the mystery. In our reality though, it is NOT elementary to think such complex thoughts – only the simple: two plus two equals four.

Honestly, “two plus two equals” doesn’t really give enough information to solve it. “Two plus two delta one equals” is a more complete question, provided we call out delta one as some unit of time. For instance, two plus two delta 30 where delta 30 equals 30 minutes, two plus two would equal a fruit salad! Two apples, two oranges, and 30 minutes seems like a pretty sparse salad, but it’s feasible!

We didn’t even take into account the germs and fly eggs on each of those pieces of fruit. What if two plus two actually equals 200 billion squared? Or two times 10 to the 20th? So, two plus two equals two times 10 to the 20th germs.

Or it could be the quantity of seeds in the whole lot, where two plus two is approximately equal to 22, with an average of 7 seeds in each apple and an average of 3.89 seeds in each orange. It’s approximate, because I rounded up, and since we’re dealing with an elementary question, they’re not looking for an answer with decimal places.

The mind-boggling part is that “two plus two” could equal all these things. Think about it. If two apples plus two oranges equals dirt, and dirt is the breeding grounds for life, doesn’t two apples plus two oranges then equal infinity? Because dirt equals the potential to equal everything, anything, and always and everything, anything, and always equals infinity, that means that two apples plus two oranges equals infinity.

So, a recap:

• 2+2= three pieces of fruit and two pieces of compost (5).
• 2+2= dirt.
• 2+2= fruit salad.
• 2+2= 7.5Hz.
• 2+2= two times ten to the 20th germs.
• 2+2= infinity.

But I’ve not seen anywhere in reality that indicates two apples and two oranges equals four pieces of fruit. And this isn’t even an alternate universe!
