A Few More Weeks ‘Til Summer Ends and School Comes!

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Me, I’m doing fine. This post is about our country’s (the Philippine’s) new coming school year, and that our summer’s almost ending! Many people are looking forward to school, and some still want this summer to be longer!

So, to all who’s school year’s almost starting, are you excited? Me, I’m VERY excited! You know why? I get to see my classmates, schoolmates, and teachers again! I also get some challenges going on! Here is a list of some things I love about school (I got it from my personal blog http://vannice95.blogspot.com) and just added some description:

• Meeting new friends – Yes! This is one of the things I love about school, because you know what they say, it’s fun to meet some new friends! And, you can also learn from them, and do some worthwhile stuff with them! Friends are important in our lives you know. You can count of them! But even though they are that important, nothing compares to the help, love, and care our parents give to us!

• Meeting new teachers – Yeah! Another one of the things I love about school! Meeting new teachers is great! You can experience another different technique in learning or teaching from him/her! You can better adjust to coming new teachers too!

• More projects – Hmm..even though these projects could be quite tiring, we could still have fun showing our creativity in it! These projects just enhances our creativity and thinking skills, I guess!

• More assignments – Assignments! I sometimes love them, and hate them. I love them because I could have something worthwhile to do as soon as I get home from school. And on the other hand, I hate them because I wouldn’t have enough rest time at home anymore. But to tell you guys, you must really love them, because we could always learn from these assignments, or homework as some call it! We could study and practice the lessons on ourselves! We could also ask help from our parents and our siblings if they know about the lesson!

• More clubs to join – I love this part in school because we could have some helping hand for the organization, and you can also learn from them! We could be one of those people in charge of those programs we have in school. This also enhances our grades, with this thing called extracurriculars, like in our school! We could also experience some stuff that other students wouldn’t experience! Joining clubs could be fun!

• More fun activities – Yeah! Everyone wants to have fun, right? School, even though most think it’s tiring, it always has these fun activities, like those sports, and creativity enhancers like art! There are even activities that are fun, at the same time we could learn a lot!

• Getting high grades! – YES! One of my most favorite parts in school, especially that I’m an honor student! But, even though you’re not an honor student, you also love to get these high grades, right? We worked hard for these! We slept very late for studying just for these! We get these eyebags, and well, there are still a lot of sacrifices we could give just for this important thing in school! Seeing good grades really does overwhelm us all! Like those 100% grades, or grades that range from 90 – 100% are also great! Some also call these grades as A’s!

• Getting credit for activities – Yep! This is a good part in school, especially if the most part of the activity is originally yours! You are proud of it, and would inspire you to do more activities and make them better!

• Being leader of group activities – Yeah! Being leader could be great, especially because you lead the group, and the group follows you with no question..LOL! And make your activity as orderly as it can be. But not only leaders could do that! Members can do it too! They are also the ones who give their creative ideas as suggestions for the leader.

• Investigatory Projects – They are a great part in school. This counts as our science project! We could apply that method we call the scientific method and enhance our thinking and logical skills! We express our ideas with these experiments!

• And most importantly, learn new things! – Well, it says it all! We could learn a whole lot other things in school, aside from the ones written above!

Whew! That was a long list with descriptions! So, do you agree with these? Comment on some things you can add about school too, if you want!
Before school, we always had some preparations, like mine! We bought bags and school supplies in stores, and even bought some clothes for the first few days in school! We also enrolled on our respective schools, and got their books! We cover these books and label them! On the eve of the first day of school, we set our alarms if we think we could not get up early without them. And when that first day of school comes, we try our best to look great, and the best we can be! We mostly are motivated to go to school on the first days of school, right? Some because they could see their friends again, and some just simply want to ace school and get a better future!
There are a lot of adventures we could have in school, do you agree?
To tell you guys, I’m already an ongoing Junior High School student, and am almost graduating! See? I’m almost a step away to success!
