A Graduation Message

If you’ve made it far enough to graduate, then congratulations. Your degree will give you a huge boost for your life and will enable you to get good jobs that you will have never been able to get before. 

With the recent job market in the state it’s in, it’s all too easy to get down about graduating. It may seem scary that you’re now in the world of “work” with no job to go to, and no idea about how to get that job.

One of the things that you have to remember is that you deserve a job. Never forget that. You have spent a lot of time and money gaining your qualifications, and you will get the job that you deserve eventually.

It may take a little more work than it did in the past; you may have to work for either little or free in an internship, however you will get there eventually. Never give up on your dream.

Too many people are giving up on their dream job, and working in supermarkets because they honestly don’t think they can do any better for themselves. Don’t let this be you.

There’s a lovely little latin phrase which I use from time to time, and I think it is suitable here. “Ad astra per aspera”, which means “to the stars through difficulty”. 

Keep that thought in your mind when the times get tough. You can succeed.
